General Review

James came to RL Stevens after working in a variety of food service organizations that catered to families, senior adults, and mid to lower level entrée price points.  He had achieved the highest level position within the locally owned franchise and felt stifled by his career path.

We quickly discovered a wealth of business experience not being tapped by his current employer.  Those skills, partnered with a very marketable degree from the Culinary Arts Institute of America, enabled us to position him into higher quality food service, with stronger management, income, and career path potential.  Because RL Stevens provided James with deep level market research and a wide variety of market intelligence, the consultant was able to provide him with an unadvertised and unpublished opportunity that would fulfill all of his wants and needs.

Within a month of beginning with our program, Jim was asked to join an international thematic restaurant project seeking to establish their first ‘state side’ operation in Indianapolis.  He became the Assistant General Manager and took initiatives to surpass initial forecasts, with $1.2M worth of business in the first 5 weeks. 

His objectives for advancement are much more achievable, in that he is now ‘first in line’ for the General Managers position at one of the 4 expansion franchises, scheduled to be opened within the next 18 months.
