General Review

When Terry came to R. L. Stevens’ he was desperate.  He had started a company with a friend, and found out quickly that his partner and he did not see eye-to-eye on business philosophies.  Tension was high and Terry was close to bankruptcy … he needed to jump-start his new career fast!

The urgency was undeniable … Terry was in a panic and he didn’t care what he did.  His primary goal was to find a job now!  His consultant was understanding to his needs and on the first visit determined his many talents.  Within a week, she put together a targeted resume and began reviewing Career Search, a tool that identifies hiring officials.  Terry was given key decision maker names and obtained quality interviews.  He was also provided with spot opportunities, both published and unpublished.

Then, they set out to work on his interviewing skills … those tough, hard-to answer questions.  Before long, Terry was able to tell “his story” and all the many achievements he had done in his career.  Terry got a call for that all “important interview.” 

This story has a very happy ending … within a week of the interview, Terry was given an offer and the offer was $16,000 over his base.  RL Stevens was able to show him how to transfer his skills from running his own company to managing another’s.
