General Review

The critical task working with Janis was identification of her primary strengths and discerning the appropriate marketing channels to position her for a good career start.  She worked very hard on the various aspects of our development phases, which enabled us to draw out some experiences and skills she had previously taken for granted.

With a new understanding of her capabilities, and armed with strong interviewing skills, she took her ‘newly invented self’ (aka ‘My Great New Resume) and began to attack all the channels possible.  Her progress was hindered somewhat by the September 11th tragedy and the holiday lull.  However, some stories are best told when told by the client so see these quotes from a recent email:

“I never thought that I’d be so excited about putting two jobs together into one.  Now it turns out that I’ve got one full-time position with the diversification and exposure that I was looking for.”

“About 50% of my time is serving as Project Coordinator for a state-wide health services organization.  All the materials are ready (print, video, etc) and it’s my responsibility to get it into the appropriate marketing channels.  The other part of my time is divided between a dual state hospice association, an accounting firm, and an Internet company.  Needless to say, my days are full and I’m getting to use tons of the marketing materials for which I was trained.”
