General Review

Cecil joined the RLS team after a very successful tenure with a local manufacturing organization.  His bottom line was that he had done it all within the scope of the organization and that there was little room for further growth, advancement, or creativity from where he was sitting.  He knew he could settle-in for his final 15 years of employment, but was hoping that we could help him generate something a bit more fun and rewarding and with more opportunity.

Much research was provided on unadvertised and unpublished opportunities.  Through a differentiated approach, Cecil met with the CEO of an organization seeking someone to drive ‘turn-arounds’ in three of his facilities.

“Turns out they have 22 plants worldwide.  The CEO was well aware of my history as a fix it expert.  He wanted to hire me to fix 3 of them.  As we talked, he admitted there were more than just three that needed some attention.  I used your recommendation to become his Global VP or Operational Design.  He loved the concept.  I ended up with a flat salary for the position and then a percentage of the profits over the first 36 months at the locations where I make changes.  There are still a few details to work out, but I thought you’d like to know the idea worked and it’s even more influential and ‘change driven’ than I anticipated.”
