General Review

Mike was a typical victim of a millennium restructuring, in which staff is cut, organizational functions are redefined and funding leads to growth, or lack of funding leads to cuts.  In spite of great performance and strong growth over the previous 36 months, Mike’s company lost two major accounts and funding issues led to the implementation of a ‘skeleton crew’.

We knew that Mike had strong skills.  We knew the market was good for him, because warehousing & distribution is huge business.  The critical element was identifying the appropriate people to contact and generating the proper level of exposure.  Our research confirmed the names of decision makers he wanted to approach and a timely ‘networking lead’ opened the door for a face-to-face conversation.  Mike’s ability to represent his full competence and project what ‘he could do for the operation’ led to a verbal offer at the end of the first meeting.

The entire package is ‘sweetened’ by the fact that this position is 4 12 hours shifts and will provide him 3-day weekends and more time for family, friends, community service and church related activities.
